BRAVEAURORA joins the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action

BRAVEAURORA has recently joined the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action.

The Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action (“The Alliance”) is a global, interagency group of non-profits, academic institutions, policymakers, donors and practitioners. The Alliance envisions a world in which children are protected from abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence in humanitarian settings.

In line with its vision, The Alliance sets standards and provide technical support and guidance to various stakeholders to ensure that efforts to protect children from violence and exploitation are of high quality and effective. UNICEF currently co-leads the Alliance with Plan International.

BRAVEAURORA is joining the Family Strengthening Task Force (FS TF) of The Alliance to help ensure that children have improved psychosocial wellbeing and are better protected from abuse, neglect, violence and exploitation through a positive strengthened family environment. BRAVEAURORA shall also be sharing our learnings in Ghana with other members of The Alliance.
