sensitization sessions were conducted across four communities in the Upper East Region through the Young Ambassadors Leading Change in Ghana (YALCIGs) project.<\/p>\n<p>The discussions focused on the dangers of institutionalization, the importance of family-based care, and the collective responsibility of communities to protect children and support vulnerable families before separation occurs.<\/p>\n<p>What made these conversations even more powerful were the lived experiences shared by care leavers, whose voices brought authenticity, insight, and a deeper understanding of the realities children face when separated from their families.<\/p>\n<p>Together, we can strengthen families, protect children\u2019s rights, and create communities where every child belongs.<\/p>\n<p>[DE]<\/p>\n<p>\ud83c\udfe1 Jedes Kind verdient es, in einer sicheren, liebevollen und unterst\u00fctzenden Familienumgebung aufzuwachsen.<\/p>\n<p>Im Rahmen des Engagements von BRAVEAURORA zur Verhinderung der Trennung von Kindern und ihren Familien wurden im Rahmen des Projekts \u201eYoung Ambassadors Leading Change in Ghana (YALCIGs)\u201c Sensibilisierungsveranstaltungen in Gemeinden der Upper East Region durchgef\u00fchrt.<\/p>\n<p>Die Diskussionen konzentrierten sich auf die Risiken der Institutionalisierung von Kindern, die Bedeutung familienbasierter Betreuung sowie die gemeinsame Verantwortung der Gemeinschaften, Kinder zu sch\u00fctzen und gef\u00e4hrdete Familien zu unterst\u00fctzen, bevor eine Trennung erfolgt.<\/p>\n<p>Besonders wertvoll wurden diese Gespr\u00e4che durch die Erfahrungen ehemaliger Heimkinder (Care Leavers), deren pers\u00f6nliche Geschichten den Diskussionen Authentizit\u00e4t verliehen und ein tieferes Verst\u00e4ndnis f\u00fcr die Herausforderungen von Kindern erm\u00f6glichten, die von ihren Familien getrennt werden.<\/p>\n<p>Gemeinsam k\u00f6nnen wir Familien st\u00e4rken, die Rechte von Kindern sch\u00fctzen und
