In Guabuliga many wells were polluted and had bacteriological values, which fell under the category HIGH RISK. Without healthy water there can be no economic development, no wealth, no health and no education. Therefore, BRAVEAURORA worked actively with the locals to improve the water supply. With 5 water sources and 6 wells, there is now clean drinking water for more than 6,000 people in Guabuliga. BRAVEAURORA has developed a successful system with the village population as the village population can save money for any repairs. The local Water Board was also re-designed and women were included in the board. This project was realized in cooperation with the University of Applied Arts in Vienna (Ghana expert Univ.Ass. Mag. Arch. Baerbel Müller and her team).
