No future without school
In northern Ghana, where BRAVEAURORA operates, two-thirds (60%) of children do not attend school regularly because they have to help out on the farm! 80% of children do not have adequate classrooms (e.g. tables and chairs in the classroom) and no child has school books! These should actually be provided by the government, but unfortunately this is not the case in the north of the country!

BRAVEAURORA's educational programme
Every child should have the same opportunity to receive an education and develop their full potential. Education enables economic advancement, democratic participation and a self-determined life. In 2021, BRAVEAURORA will reach a total of 3,000 students in northern Ghana with several educational measures, such as tutoring, IT lessons, sex education and much more. BRAVEAURORA provides school books and school equipment and supports teachers with further training and teaching materials.

Your sponsorship contribution goes towards our educational projects in northern Ghana, such as tutoring, IT lessons, school books, school equipment and teaching materials, further training workshops for teachers, and Girls Empowerment Clubs, which address topics such as menstrual hygiene, self-determination over one's own body, protection against violence, gender roles, youth protection, and much more are addressed.
Your sponsorship therefore supports not only one child, but the entire family (financial relief) and the entire community (better school equipment, etc.).
