Donation management using ‘FundraisingBox’
We use the software ‘FundraisingBox’, a product of Wikando GmbH, Schießgrabenstr. 32, 86150 Augsburg, Germany, to manage and process donations. The integration of this software is necessary to make the donation process efficient and secure. It enables us to process online donations, manage donor data and document donations.

What data is processed?
The following personal data is processed when using FundraisingBox:
- Personal information: Name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth
- Payment details: Account details, credit card details or other payment methods
- Donation Information: Donation amount, donation purpose, time of donation
- Communication data: Information from communications with you, for example via forms or queries regarding donations
Payment provider
The following payment providers are available for processing donations:
- PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A, 22-24 Boulevard Royal L-2449, Luxemburg: Privacy policy
- Stripe Payments Europe, Limited (Kreditkartenzahlungen), 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, D02 H210, Irland: Privacy policy
- SEPA direct debit: The data protection regulations of your bank and our bank (Raiffaisen Bank Schärding) apply
Legal basis for data processing
Your data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (fulfilment of a contractual relationship, in this case: processing your donation) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in efficient donation management).
You can object to the processing of your data at any time. To do so, please contact our data protection officer (see ‘Your rights´).
Contact us
If you contact us via the form on the website or by email, the data you provide will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions.
We will not disclose any of this data to third parties without your consent.
Server Logs
Our web server collects data about access to the site and stores it as server logs. The following data is logged:
- Website visited
- Current time at the time of accessing the website
- Amount of data sent
- A reference from which you arrived at the page
- The browser used
- The operating system used
- The IP address used (anonymised)
The data collected is used exclusively to improve the website, as the logs enable us to identify and rectify any errors. They also provide us with information that enables us to prevent unauthorised use of the website.

- This data is processed exclusively within the European Union and is not passed on to third parties.
