Every child deserves the best possible start in life, and breastfeeding remains one of the most powerful ways to make that happen.

This year’s theme, „Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works,“ highlights the importance of promoting and supporting breastfeeding as a vital investment in the health and well-being of children, families, and communities.

To commemorate this year’s celebration, BRAVEAURORA is delighted to partner with the West Mamprusi Municipal Health Directorate of the @_ghsofficial to raise awareness about the importance of breastfeeding and encourage greater support for mothers across our communities. 🇬🇭❤️

During this period, we will be undertaking the following activities:

📻 Radio discussions to educate families and communities about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding during the first six months of a child’s life and its lasting impact on healthy growth and development.

🪧 A public awareness float this Tuesday to share appropriate breastfeeding messages and encourage communities to support mothers and their children.

Building an environment in which every mother receives the support she needs and every child has the opportunity to thrive is possible when we come together.
