BRAVEAURORA is against the model of child sponsorships and does not offer any models of sponsorship with children. Nevertheless, we offer other forms of sponsorship, namely an educational sponsorship or a business sponsorship.
To give children and their families a future, clean water, education and training, healthy nutrition and much more is needed. The material help for a child is not enough – the entire environment must be strengthened and developed.
If a whole village community is supported, your help is sustainable. It creates structures that support the child and his environment in the long term. A young person needs education to learn a profession and earn money for himself and his family. However, healthy development requires a clean environment and a good social.
BRAVEAURORAs Sponsorships models
Educational Sponsorship: Become the godfather of a high-quality school system. With your educational sponsorship, BRAVEAURORA contributes to the improvement of the school situation in Guabuliga and uses a rewarding system for teachers, learning support and kindergartens, continuing education scholarships and the counselling center at various levels. With an annual sponsorship of 25 euros, you enable a child to attend elementary school, with an annual sponsorship of 660 euros, a teacher training program for an honorary junior teacher.
Business sponsorship: BRAVEAURORA provides help for self-help through training and microcredit. The Training Center of BRAVEAURORA in Guabuliga is a centre for practical training and business ideas. Help, so that young entrepreneurs can help themselves! With your business sponsorship you contribute to the strengthening of village entrepreneurship to the sustainable improvement of the economic and social situation in Guabuliga. With an annual donation of 150 euros you encourage a person to start and complete the training as craftsman/ craftswoman, with a business sponsorship of 120 euros a year you donate a starter kit such as a sewing machine to a young entrepreneur and support women on the way to care for themselves and their families.
Social and environmental sponsorship: BRAVEAURORA needs your help as a godfather to be able to provide information on illegal orphanages in as many villages as possible. With former orphans and the ambassadors of reintegration, negative consequences of orphanages should be made aware of. Every year they cover and are of about 1,500 km to care for children and families. With your annual donation of 180 euros, the transport costs can be covered to disseminate the knowledge. In Guabuliga, there is also strong emphasis on conscious, sustainable cooperation and ecological awareness. With 25 euros a year, as part of an environmental sponsorship, you can help buying and planting 20 tree seedlings that provide long-term protection against storms, fruit and a shady spot for market deals.

BRAVEAURORA is pleased to cooperate with schools. From experience we know how motivated students are and what a joy it can be to help the less privileged. Charity runs, cake buffets or special projects for the benefit of BRAVEAURORA projects in the context of an A-Level thesis are only examples. Students have the possibility to gain interesting insights into the sustainable development cooperation and additionally benefit children and their families in Ghana!
We also like to combine these school activities with a personal visit and a presentation on sustainable development cooperation, life and challenges in Ghana. Through this, awareness of the need to fight against the orphanage business and volunteer tourism will be raised.
